Victoria Villalobos
Victoria is the founder and owner of Walk it Down Frederick. She embarked on her pet care career in the spring of 2011 although her experience with nurturing, sheltering and loving a wide variety of animals began almost 29 years ago. Victoria grew up in a home with multiple dogs and cats and when the time came for her to move out of the house she broadened her critter repertoire to include hamsters (hairless!), ferrets and birds. Currently, she is the proud mama of a pit-bull mix named Cinna and thousands of fireflies who enjoy hanging out in her backyard garden.
Kaylah McCourtney
Kaylah has loved animals all her life, growing up with cats, hamsters, mice, rats and birds. Two years ago, the addition of first one, and then two rescued dogs made her family of six feel utterly complete. While her home won’t accommodate any more animals, her heart is open to love and care for all creatures, great and small. She loves walking with dogs, seeking that perfect balance of energy that allows for trust and mutual enjoyment through exercise. Her calm presence and gentle approach will put even the most anxious dog at ease.
Gaby Janus
Gaby can’t remember a time in her life that did not include a furry friend. They have always been a part of her life whether it was being an owner, volunteering at the shelter, working at a boarding kennel or working on their behalf at The Humane Society of the United States. She stopped working full-time to stay home with her two children, Natalia and Ryan, but still devoted her time to animals by volunteering at Animal Control and most recently at the Frederick County Humane Society. Today, Gaby continues to dedicate her life to the well being of animals by being a part of the Frederick Emergency Animal Hospital team. Gaby and her family currently share their home with two year old Charlie, a pointer mix. He is a joy to have around and wonderful with kids. Gaby is excited to provide the same love and attention to other people’s pets as she does to her own.
